✨ Help us kick off the season with a one-of-a-kind holiday celebration as we explore world Nativity Plays in translation ✨
On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, the Medieval World Drama Working Group (MWDWG) is expanding the regular meetup format with more play readings and festive treats. We’re celebrating the holiday season with cold readings of medieval Nativity plays from English, Spanish, and Italian sources.

🎭 We’ll Read: Medieval Nativity plays like Belcari’s Annunciation and the York Three Kings sequence coupled with Auto de los Reyes Magos and Encina’s Nativities. (We’ll provide copies of the scripts.)
📖 Special Guest: Translator Alexandra Atiya will bring her expertise to the event, reading selections from original Spanish texts.
✨ Costumes Encouraged: Embrace the holiday spirit by wearing your most creative holiday-themed costume—medieval or modern!
